Mŕtve rameno Váhu, also known as “Mrtvák” is a lake, a dead stream branch of Váh river, located to the north of the town. It’s a popular location for swimming, camping, fishing and boating in summer, while in winter many people ice-skate on the frozen lake. The lakefront offers a site for relaxation with campfires and roofed camping tables, a small beach and many other places. In 2019 a boat rental service was open, where you can get yourself a boat or a water bike.
